The Remix Project is a state of the art creative space located in the Daniels ‘City of The Arts’ building in Toronto, Canada. The space boasts over 4000+ square feet of professional working/training space for young creatives in the business, music and arts industries. The Recording Arts program has access to a fully functioning modern recording studio, recording booth as well as a private production room and DJ lab. The Creative Arts program shares an open concept workspace with the Business Arts program, which encourages cross-collaboration between disciplines. The space also has a professional photography studio and a one of a kind shipping container boardroom-classroom. During the warmer months, Remix participants are invited to find inspiration on the private outdoor terrace with views of Lake Ontario.
The Remix Project is located at Daniels Waterfront- City of the Arts. Officially opening in Fall 2018 City of the Arts is a mixed-use building located on Toronto’s developing, innovative Waterfront, Queens Quay at Lower Jarvis Street in Toronto, ON, Canada. The building now stands in what was formerly the legendary Canadian entertainment complex, Guvernment. It is home to a diverse community of like-minded art organizations, institutions and corporate offices. Remix is proud to be neighbors of George Brown School of Design, Artscape Daniels Launchpad, OCADU and many other outstanding organizations.
130 QQE at Daniels Waterfront – City of the Arts is an accessible building including elevator access to all floors, barrier free entrances with power door operators, barrier free paths to suites and amenity areas, seven universal washrooms throughout the building, change rooms with barrier free access and barrier free showers, and tactile indicators on all stairs and ramps where required as per the Ontario Building Code.
