Jebril “Fresh” Jalloh embodies the concept – from the ground up. When we first met Jebril he was hustling clothes from the trunk of his car – not quite a decade later, he owns and operates one of the trendiest clothing/street wear boutiques on Queen St. West, Toronto – The Get Fresh Company.
Jebril’s journey in the fashion and cultural industries has seen him take disparate threads to weave together his own unique story. He has been an independent distributor, a wardrobe stylist with industry leaders Bossy Girls, a wholesaler for various streetwear brands, run successful night club events and pop-up shops as well worked closely with entrepreneur Big Apple before graduating into his own successful wardrobe and retail based company, GetFresh (GFC).
2016 saw the realization of a dream for Jebril when Get Fresh Co. collaborated officially with one of his long time favourite brands – Mitchell & Ness and the Toronto Raptors! Together, the three companies teamed up to officially release a signature playoff version of GFC’s incredibly popular “YYZ” hat during the first round of the NBA playoffs at the Air Canada Centre!
Jebril has also recently translated some of his experiences building brands and operating in culture in order to begin working with Remy Martin, and has launched niche kids apparel brand “HEIR Kid” with fellow The Remix Project alumni, Will Nguyen.
